(FINALLY)

Silkscreen I made using a photo and some hand-drawn stuff...it was just done on tag as a kind of me-goofing-around-thing. I stayed at school until 9:45pm tonight just to pull three colors. It was worth it, though. I'll post the real finished one when I hopefully complete it this weekend.

Self Portrait - Digital Collage Assignment..we had to use a bunch of work that we had actually done in other studios. She told me to stop when I got this far, she loved it.
I feel it is incomplete and needing something, though...

So I bought some watercolors by Winsor and Newton, a Cotman travel kit. De Serres had one in a leather case for $20 (Regularly $85!!)...so of course I snapped that up. I usually hate watercolors. I still do. But the new kids are really encouraging. I spent a whole afternoon sitting around with a few of them drawing and playing with watercolor and was inspired to get my own set. I've been going nuts with them.





Also, this is my silk screen project from last week.

DSG from November 11, 2007...it was meant to be some kind of white, eyeless flying predator. x_x Wheee?





Also...today I got my glasses.
They are my first pair ever. I like them, they make me look older(more mature?) and more sophisticated. When I start getting tired of the novelty of a new accessory perhaps I'll opt for contacts or laser eye surgery but considering that they're only a mild prescription for distances and stuff I think they'll be here to stay for a while.

School's been tough lately. I have a lot of projects left to do and I feel like I'm drowning in all the work...The serigraph projects are killing me. I just thank god the performance art project is done. What a disaster!
