 Went shopping today and on the way home I came across this church with a little rummage-store-basement. It's only open for 6 hours a week and full of second hand bits. I found the diffuser, tea ball and tiny box of gauze for all under $1! I'm inlove with the little box and its vintage packaging. I've been busy trying to update some of the visuals at work; sometimes it feels like a new project pops up as soon as I complete one...but that's work! And work is good. I'm trying to draw more...on paper, especially. So far, it's not going well. x_x 
 I keep meaning to do something with the pictures I took in India but then everytime I look at them I feel this...guilt? I don't know. I haven't really written about the trip anywhere and part of me feels that it's important I do. I keep thinking about it but not really processing the meaning behind it. I keep dreaming about the heat. That's weird, right? What an odd thing to take away. Meanwhile work has been piling up. There's those two graphic jobs I'm just sitting on. it's hard to complete something when the request comes without a deadline. Not very professional of me, I know.
 I forgot about this painting duet I did...I've been trying to clean up my apartment and found them in a pile of nonsense along with a bunch of birch panel door skins that I had chopped up and forgotten about, too. I was going to paint something for my bathroom...but now that I see these maybe I'll just slap those in there instead...:O
 So I'm back from India -- and R came back from Alberta! Except she's leaving right away again for Egypt. So I decided to bake her some muffins. I stole the paperbag idea from Design Sponge (or I guess Twig & Thistle) and slipped a little ribbon in there. I wish my printer hadn't made such a mess of it (time to clean those heads)...but otherwise it turned out really cute.
